D’Amelio posted a bunch of photos on Instagram, writing in the caption, “some dwts bts!!! i can’t believe the finale is only two days away :( sad that it’s almost over but so excited for you all to see these next two dances!!!” In the post, there are a few photos of D’Amelio with her mother, Heidi D’Amelio, who also competed in this season of DWTS, as well as a shot with D’Amelio and Ballas. The rest of the photos show unique behind-the-scenes moments, like when D’Amelio was painted bright yellow to dress up as Marge Simpson or when she smashed a bug in her dancing shoes. The Instagram post has over 845,000 likes, and D’Amelio’s DWTS co-star Trevor Donovan, who was eliminated from the competition last week, commented, “🤘💚,” on the post. Many of D’Amelio’s 48.9 million followers also commented on the images, with many people proclaiming their support for the star ahead of the finale. One said, “Charli going to take home the W.” “Can’t wait we will miss watching y’all sm ❤️😍,” another wrote. The finale of this season of DWTS will air on Nov. 21 at 8 p.m. EST on Disney Plus. Along with the TikTok star and Ballas, the other pairs still competing for the Mirrorball Trophy are Wayne Brady and Witney Carson, Shangela and Gleb Savchenko, and Gabby Windey and Val Chmerkovskiy.
